Frequently Asked Questions

Every photograph in The World by Mr Fun carries a journey within it — but choosing the right print shouldn’t feel like one. Here you’ll find answers about sizes, finishes, shipping, and care, so you can focus on the story each piece brings into your home.

1. What kind of prints do you offer?

We specialize in fine art travel photography prints, available in museum-quality papers, acrylic glass, wooden floating frames, and aluminum dibond. Each piece is produced with archival inks to ensure lasting color and detail.

2. Are your prints limited edition?

Most works are available as open editions. Some works are released as limited editions, meaning only a fixed number of prints will ever be produced in that size and finish. Once the edition is sold out, no further copies are made, preserving the exclusivity of your artwork.

Each limited edition print is signed and numbered by the artist on a Certificate of Authenticity, which accompanies your piece. The numbering shows the print’s place in the series — for example, 7/25 indicates the 7th print in a 25-print edition.

Currently, no Artist Proofs are issued.

3. What is an Artist Proof (AP)?

An Artist Proof is a print produced outside of the main numbered edition. Traditionally, these were used by the artist to review color, finish, and overall quality before the full edition was released. Today, APs are often identical in quality to the main edition but are extremely rare — usually no more than 10–15% of the total edition size. Because of their scarcity, Artist Proofs are highly valued by collectors.

At this time, The World by Mr Fun does not issue Artist Proofs. If this changes in the future, we will clearly note it on each artwork’s product page.

4. Do the prints come framed?

Yes, you can choose between unframed prints, fine art prints in a wooden floating frame, or prints mounted under acrylic glass. Frames are handmade and available in several finishes.

5. What paper do you use?

We use Hahnemühle FineArt Pearl and Photo Rag Pearl, both premium archival papers with a subtle texture and brilliant color reproduction. They are designed to last a lifetime without fading.

6. How do I know which size to choose?

Each product page lists available sizes along with recommendations for room placement. If you need different dimensions than those offered, reach out — we can usually provide a custom size. The price will generally match the next larger size tier. Please note we do not produce anything larger than our maximum size of 100 cm (40”).

7. Are the colors true to what I see online?

The images on our website are mockups that simulate how the print will look in its chosen finish. For example, fine art prints show the paper texture and light reflection, while aluminum dibond mockups display the matte, glare-free effect. Colors may vary slightly depending on your screen, but the final artwork will always be of museum quality.

8. How are the prints produced?

We work with professional print labs and framers who specialize in museum-quality production. Prints are made to order and inspected before shipping.

9. Do the prints include your signature?

Yes. Limited editions include a digital signature on the print and a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity. Open editions include a discreet digital signature or watermark.

10. How are prints packaged?

Prints are shipped in secure, protective packaging designed to prevent bending or damage. Framed and acrylic pieces are boxed with corner protection and shock-resistant wrapping.

11. Do you ship worldwide?

Yes. We ship globally, working with trusted partners to ensure safe delivery wherever you are.

12. How long does shipping take?

Most orders are produced and shipped within 5–10 business days. Delivery time depends on your location. Estimated times are shown at checkout.

13. How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the total weight of your shipment, not per item. For example, multiple fine art prints are shipped together in one package at no additional cost.

14. What if my print arrives damaged?

If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days with photos of the issue. We’ll arrange a replacement at no additional cost.

15. Can I return or exchange my order?

Since each piece is made to order, we do not accept returns for change of mind. However, we will replace or refund any order that arrives defective or incorrect.

16. Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your print ships, you’ll receive a tracking number so you can follow its journey to your door.

17. Do you offer digital downloads?

At this time, we focus on physical fine art prints. Digital licensing may be offered in the future.

18. How do I care for my print?

Keep prints away from direct sunlight, high humidity, or extreme temperatures. For framed pieces, dust gently with a soft cloth. Proper care ensures your artwork lasts for generations.

19. Do you work with interior designers or businesses?

Absolutely. We offer tailored solutions for interior designers, hotels, offices, and galleries. Contact us to discuss bulk or custom orders.

20. Do you collaborate with collectors?

Yes. We’re open to collector collaborations, special requests, or unique framing solutions. Reach out if you have something in mind.

21. How can I stay updated on new releases?

Subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know about new collections, limited editions, and special offers.

22. How sustainable is your shipping?

All prints are produced and shipped from Amsterdam. By centralizing production, we maintain strict quality control and reduce unnecessary transport between facilities. We use sturdy yet minimal packaging to protect your artwork while avoiding excess waste.
